Requirements

  • Be powered from an independent power supply (LiPo Battery)
    • Onboard charging capabilities preferred
  • Interface with (ideally) 5 cameras
  • For each camera
    • Provide regulated power
    • Be able to turn them on/off, enable video recording, and take pictures (~3 GPIO)
    • Read whether the camera is on and if the camera is recording (~2 GPIO)
  • Visually display the status of each camera in an obvious way
  • Easily test all cameras on the launchpad (e.g. through manual test switches)
  • Communicate with Pyxida over a serial bus (likely I2C)
  • Use an STM32 Processor
    • Programs over 5x2 50-mil pitch connector / STLink
