The fishery problem is serious, but fortunately you can act to help solve it. Here's what you can do to help save the world's fisheries:

  • Reduce your fish intake. Eating less fish is the easiest way to help protect our oceans.
    • When you do eat seafood, buy sustainably. The (INSERT LINK HERE) Web site provides an extensive list of seafood options and analyzes their environmental impact.
  • Keep informed about fisheries issues: Major activist groups in this area are (INSERT LINKS)
  • Get involved politically: Contact your elected representatives about this issue, and remember the fish when you vote.
  • Tell your friends what you've learned: Almost none of us knew about this issue until we joined Terrascope, and increasing public awareness of the fishery problem is an essential step towards solving it.
