You are free to use these questions as you see fit. However, we strongly recommend that you look at these questions in the context of a practice oral exam with a friend, professor, Comm Lab fellow, or any other person who can provide a challenging test-taking environment. There are very few available questions, and they would be best utilized by using them to simulate a realistic hour-long exam that will allow you to experience the pressure of taking the oral quals.
If you are not taking the oral exam this cycle, DO NOT look at these questions. Please, it's for your own good.
If you are really curious at what kind of content is covered in the exam, but aren't ready to do a practice yet, DO NOT look at these questions. Ask a friend, advisor, post-doc, etc.
Just don't be stupid. There's plenty of time for that after quals.
