Forces which produce action-at-a-distance. The only fundamental force which is studied directly in introductory mechanics is gravitation.
The Fundamental Forces
At this time, four forces are given the status "fundamental". They are:
- Gravitation
- Electricty/magnetism
- Weak nuclear force
- Strong nuclear force
