The Management of Technology and Entrepreneurship Institute (MTEI) at EPFL invites applications for a tenure track assistant professor appointment in Management of Technology broadly defined, with a focus on strategy, operations, quantitative marketing, statistics, game theory or industrial organization.

We are searching for applicants who are committed to excellence in research as evidenced by high-impact publications in top journals. A doctorate will be required at the starting date. The successful candidate will be expected to develop an independent and competitive research program in a multidisciplinary environment and engage with researchers in related fields across the EPFL campus, such as finance, engineering, mathematics, computer science, and operations research. A successful applicant will be expected to teach courses at the graduate level in English.

Significant start-up resources and research infrastructure will be made available. Applications will be reviewed starting November 1st, 2012, with review continuing until the position is filled.

Salary and benefits are internationally competitive. The starting date is flexible during 2013.
