GR4 - Computer Prototyping

Platform

Our project is a website and was built and tested in Google Chrome. Google Chrome is the optimal web browser to use during testing as some browsers may not work as we implemented.

Logging In

When the prototype is first started the user is already signed in as a brother of Phi Kappa Sigma. The user's name is Fidel Sosa. The logout and account links navigate to the main page.

House Job Tab

The "House Job" tab contains two weeks of jobs (Weeks of April 10th and the 17th), instead of a full calendar. Clicking to go backwards from the 10th or forwards from the 17th stays on the same page. Job completions are not static either, and go back to incomplete after reloading or navigating to another page.

Room Reservation Tab

The "Room Reservation" tab only has one week of information available. When the user fills out the "Reserve a Room" form the information that is put into the table will not depend on the entered information. The new entry will state "Poker in the Chapter Room from 1:00 a.m. to 4:00 a.m." on Thursday, April 31st. Once the user has clicked on the "Reserve Room" button and the new event has been added all additional clicks will not produce any results. Event additions are not static, and are removed after reloading or navigating to another page.

what you have looks very neat and clean! my main concern is that it is a bit too small:
first, the room reservation interface seems like it should do something to help users know what times a room is free (like a calendar type view)
second, there is no admin UI for adding house jobs. I know we didn't really talk about having one to begin with, but there used to be other parts of the site, like an interface for seeing the rooms in the house, and the members of the house (and an external site for newcomers to be introduced to the house). I suppose I feel like it is a bit too simple now, and it would be good to flex your user-interface muscles a little more by adding something, and an admin UI for dealing with who's doing what house jobs seems fitting (though if you want to add back one of the other things you had planned, that would probably work too).
