I attended the first kick off session today.
The general purpose of the 3 workgroups in the TF is to start creating small focus communities around sharing, getting/providing input to the IPhone product team and brainstorming new apps/services/integration opportunities for the iPhone. We will be meeting 1/2 times a month over a tele-conference with an in-person meeting planned a day before Educause starts in Seattle.
They are going to create a restricted community portal, most of the content can be shared though there will be limited NDA material.
Issues and questions can be raised thru our internal (MIT) wiki for the iPhone eval which andrew and I can then collate and take back to the taskforce.
