kids, aging between 8-13

Tasks for Kids user-group

  1. Upload projects(physical and virtual)
  2. Play virtual projects
  3. Manage her own projects
  4. Browse/search her own and other kids' projects
  5. Create/manage her own profile page (portfolios in a form presentable to schools admission officers) [This function will be implemented in the future.]
  6. Comment and rate other kids' projects

Tasks for Parents user-group (for future reference, not the focus of 6.831 project)

  1. Have access to their children's profile pages (have permission to edit) via parent channel
  2. Can purchase class credits online
  3. Communicate with BIY staff

Tasks for Schools user-group(for future reference, not the focus of 6.831 project)

  1. Have access to their students' profiles via school management channel
  2. Can purchase class credits online
  3. Communicate with BIY staff

Tasks for BIY Staff user-group

  1. Have access to students via a class management channel
  2. Upload/manage class materials
  3. Grade/evaluate class projects and student performance
  4. Manage students' projects
  5. Communicate with students, parents and school administrators
  6. Give awards
  7. Manage comments
