I designed the database for the backend and worked on the Django views, which get the appropriate data for each request. Additionally, I worked on the AJAX requests with Ari to be able to modify the database without changing pages. I also made the calendar display on the calendar page (except the individual event tiles) and navigation by clicking different days of the calendar.

I worked mostly on the front end for the main calendar page.  I moved elements around to improve the layout along with writing javascript to make elements function.  I created all the modals used on the calendar page: create event, edit event and reach out.  I redesigned the event tiles and added the driver assignment functionality.  I am currently trying to get the colors of the event tiles to reflect the family members attending the event to give the user better information scent.

I worked mostly on the frontend. On the calendar page, I created the affordances related to calendar per-day/per-week navigation and minicalendar functionality. Eventually, I concentrated on the contacts page. I organized page layout, implemented search with filtered display, and displaying proper contact info. This also consisted of trying to tie contacts with the backend by making modals for sending messages and finding friends. In addition, I utilized flat UI to make the pages aesthetically pleasing.

I worked mostly on the settings page, figuring out the right ways to interface the front-end and the back-end. I've also made work on the messages section, though that feature is still incomplete. Finally, I've been in charge of managing deployment to Heroku and ensuring that prod runs as expected.
