Goals

• Update old communication streams: postcard, website
• Identify product, services, and audiences: schedule meetings with liaisons and partners (scheduled for July and August)
• Targeted communications to audiences and services (Talking points for Nina)
• Rethink library partnership
• Participate in social media

Communication Action Plan

• Identify the service priorities of our customer base and prepare targeted communications to speak to those priorities.

Postcard

• Include website: make sure website is updated before the postcard goes out
• Give to liasons - they can hand out as needed
• Give to past partners
• Give to Steve Horsch - to use as an example of possible donor projects

Meetings

• Rob to meet with Tracy G. to discuss presenting to DPS
• Rob to meet with Museum
• Rob to meet with Reference Publications
• Beverly to schedule meeting with Kris Brewer to explore presentation possiblities on TechTV
• Beverly to meet with Nicole to begin discussing updating the Metadata website
• Rob to reconnect with other partners

New Media

• Environmental Scan
• Twitter account for the Metadata services department
