Problem Statement
Students often travel to new places during the summer months. These students will want to find friends (old or new) in their area; they need a means of communication. Several problems may arise when living in a new city, including:
- Searching for roommates
- Making travel plans (i.e., sharing a cab)
- Finding friends to hang out with
- Finding trustworthy people
A web interface that facilitates location of and communication with other students would be a useful tool. This project aims to create such a tool that will provide users with a way of looking at students' summer plans.
